Shakespeare's Five-Tiered Pricing Structure

Peter Lellos recently picked up a 1932 Shakespeare Dealer Catalog and has shared some cool stuff from this gem of a catalog. Below are two scans that illustrated how confusing dealer pricing could be. Inaugurated on September 1, 1931 (the teeth of the Great Depression, by the way), William Shakespeare Jr. offered a five-tier pricing system for their customers. Here are the levels:

Almost seven years ago, we published this little primer on the difference between a wholesaler, a jobber/distributor, and a retailer. But keep in mind every dealer had a different level of pricing, and you get into some insane book keeping.
